About Hannah Mebane

Hannah Mebane is a Moore County native that began playing the violin in the 4th grade at Pinehurst Elementary. She received her Bachelors in Music K-12 from Meredith College in 2012 and has taught for Moore County Schools for 11 years. In 2018, Hannah fell in love with a method of teaching called the Suzuki Method. She completed her violin unit one training with Christie Felsing from the Hartt School, violin unit two with Daniel Gee Cordova from the Austin Suzuki School, and completed violin unit 3 with Ann Montzka Smelser from the Music Institute of Chicago. She has also completed training in Suzuki in the Schools level 1 and 2 with Winifred Crock. Hannah has a passion for spreading the love of music through string instruments and has 15 plus years of private instruction experience. When she is not teaching music, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Louisa and son Walter. She also is a licensed broker with Premier Real Estate of the Sandhills and enjoys talking Real Estate.
